Hang Seng down 0.30pc at close
(07-30 16:13)
Hong Kong stocks ended 0.30 percent lower following a weak lead from Wall Street and weighed by concerns about the global recovery.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index ended 64.01 points lower at 21,029.81. Turnover was HK$51.45 billion.

Chinese shares closed down 0.40 percent as concerns about a glut of banking shares amid a run of IPOs dented sentiment, dealers said.

The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 10.61 points at 2,637.50 on turnover of 94.1 billion yuan (HK$107.89 billion).
