Fun car
The all-new, third generation Honda Jazz will dazzle you with its panorama roof and many digital devices.

Inside track
After this adrenaline-pumping road test, we turned to Lamborghini brand manager Max Cheng for his comments.

Incredible!
Being a motoring editor has its moments, and this one was beautiful. After hearing about the all-new Lamborghini LP560- 4 for so long, and actually riding in one at high speed on the Zhuhai International Circuit, the day arrived when I took the wheel to road test the amazing beast.

Close encounters
Wearnes Motors invited motoring editors to try the "City Safety" feature of the new XC60.

Give me a brake!
Volvo, long reputed to be the world's safest car, has done it again. They have improved on distance sensors to the point where, if the car in front of you suddenly stops, and you do not notice, your Volvo XC60 will slam its own brakes.

Inside track - John Newman
After the prestigious launch event, we turned to John Newman, deputy managing director, Italian Motors (Sales & Service), for his comments.

Malibu mood
With HK$100 million worth of private motorcars parked on the premises, movie stars and leggy starlets chatting with consuls general and the lights sparkling on the nearby bay, the scene could have been Malibu or Santa Monica.

New rival denies Rutter triumph
Once again, the Motorcycle Grand Prix was the most exciting race in the program. Pity Michael Rutter. This rising star has won the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix six times, equaling the record set by "Rocket Ron" Haslam.

Champion at last
The World Touring Car Championship was to be decided at Macau again, for the fourth time. And it was nearly as strange as the Formula 3 race.

Rising stars steal the show
This year's Macau Grand Prix was memorable for having several new elements, including 20 rookie drivers in the F3 championship, several new races and a lot of unexpected crashes.

Rocket launch
The national launch of the new Porsche 911 Carrera series in China was celebrated in Zhuhai. In a massive, specially constructed tent, Porsche hosted a gala dinner for specially invited guests from all over China, including five of us from Hong Kong.
