High-tech!
In this road test, my first impression was of the advances in technology. For instance, I used to drive a 1965 Ford Mustang that produced a "magnificent" 200 horsepower out of a massive 4,700cc. Then, last week, I drove the Subaru Exiga, which produces 225 horsepower out of less than 2,000cc. Amazing!

A night to remember
For the hong kong launch of the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4, Kingsway Cars managing director Leo Wong and general manager Max Cheng invited customers and a few lucky members of the press to the Metal Zone of Elements in the ICC complex.

Refined convertible
It has long been a characteristic of Hong Kong motorists that if they drive an open-top car, they still search for total comfort. You may see a convertible with top down, but all the windows up, and the occupants relaxed in the air conditioning.

Power and glory
Max Cheng, general manager of Kingsway Cars, invited a few lucky journalists to the recent Lamborghini regional track event, held at Sepang Formula 1 circuit, Malaysia. The star of the show was the all-new Superleggera, boasting 570 horsepower and four-wheel drive.

Open Sesame!
Fortunately for us, the all-new GranCabrio is now available in Hong Kong. The Isola restaurant in the IFC Mall was the appropriate venue for the exciting unveiling, after speeches by Herbert Adamczyk, managing director of Auto Italia, and Simone Niccolai, managing director of Maserati Asia Pacific.

WRX goes automatic
The macho, wannabee rally driver who has worshipped Subaru's World Rally Champion WRX for years may be shocked at the idea of his idol appearing with an automatic transmission.

Pure Bentley
The new flagship model, Bentley Mulsanne, was unveiled in the gardens of The Repulse Bay. Widely regarded as the Hong Kong luxury motor segment's most anticipated 2010 event, the new Mulsanne is an engineering masterpiece and a modern statement of luxury driving and grand touring. Once again, it confirms British motoring excellence.

Serious fun!
Road testing the latest Nissan Z-car brought back memories of the first Z-car, the Datsun 240Z Fairlady. It appeared in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, in 1971, and was affordably duty-free.

Ride in style
When the first Odyssey arrived in Hong Kong, it was a sensation, an MPV that was somehow not an MPV. It rode high, and carried seven or eight people yet it did not have the sliding doors of a van.

Winner gets Hong Kong's own MyCar
There was excitement in the air at the Kowloon Bay Integrated Auto Mall (KBIA) in the EMax Building one morning recently. They were giving away a brand new car!

Inside track - Markus Jebsen
After the ceremonial unveiling of the Rapide, we spoke to Markus Jebsen, chairman of Aston Martin (Hong Kong), for further insight into the revolutionary Aston Martin.
